PNMsoft was a British-Israeli software company specializing in Business Process Management (BPM) software. It was established in 1996 by Gal Horvitz, a graduate of the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, who also served as the company's CEO. He was soon joined by fellow Technion graduates Adi Hofstein and Sagiv Ben Shaul as co-founders. The company's primary offering was Sequence, an Intelligent Business Process Management Suite (iBPMS) designed to build and manage workflow applications to enhance business operations. This platform targeted midsize to large organizations, particularly those utilizing Microsoft technologies.
The Sequence suite provided a development environment for designing forms, system integrations, and process flows. A key feature was its HotChange® technology, which allowed for the rapid modification of high-availability workflow applications without taking them offline. The platform was engineered for deep integration with Microsoft products like SharePoint, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Dynamics, as well as enterprise applications from SAP and Oracle. PNMsoft's business model focused on providing these software solutions globally, with offerings for on-premises, managed on-premises, hosted, and SaaS deployments. The company expanded its offerings with HotOperations, a tool for case management and real-time work optimization.
In 2007, PNMsoft secured a $3.3 million investment from Goldrock Capital, which facilitated its global expansion and the opening of its headquarters in London. By 2016, the company had established offices in the United States, the UK, Israel, and Portugal. In August 2016, Genpact, a global professional services firm, acquired PNMsoft for approximately $35.3 million. The acquisition was a strategic move for Genpact to enhance its digital transformation services by integrating PNMsoft's dynamic workflow and case management capabilities into its portfolio. Following the acquisition, PNMsoft's technology became a core component of Genpact's digital offerings and was later renamed Cora SeQuence.
