Pie Healthcare is a digital healthcare company developing services and hardware for pain management and diet tracking. The firm's mission is to make important health activities, such as keeping a food diary or using near-infrared therapy, sustainable for a broad audience. Founded in June 2015 by CEO Park Seung-hwan, the company initially started as Tag Solution, a hardware startup creating transparent LED display solutions. After failing to gain market traction, the company pivoted to healthcare, leveraging its hardware manufacturing experience.

Park Seung-hwan, a graduate of Seoul National University's School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, leads the company with colleagues from his university. Having started the company with no prior corporate experience, he guided it through significant challenges, including team restructuring and financial difficulties, which ultimately led to a strategic pivot. In 2021, the company officially changed its name from Tag Solution to Pie Healthcare to better reflect its new focus on the healthcare sector.

The company's business model is centered on creating accessible and easy-to-use "mass healthcare" solutions. Its brand portfolio includes "Cirius," a line of wearable near-infrared devices for joint health and pain relief; "PoinT," a data-driven CRM for health professionals and an offline pain management center; and "Cirius Pet," which offers healthcare products and a management app for pet care facilities. The company achieved its first profitable year with approximately 3 billion KRW in revenue, driven by sales of its Cirius products and its diet management app, which has over 100,000 subscribers.
