Pickery
Online grocery delivery platform for fresh groceries.
Pickery GmbH operated an online grocery delivery platform designed for rapid, 10-minute delivery of fresh groceries. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Hamburg, Germany, the company's core service allowed customers to shop from multiple local stores through a single, centralized order. The platform was developed by founders Nikolas Bullwinkel and Saad Saeed. Shortly after its inception, Pickery was part of the Next Commerce Accelerator program, which began in September 2020.
The business model focused on providing a convenient, unified shopping experience for consumers, enabling them to select and purchase products online for quick home delivery. Operating in the B2C non-financial services and FoodTech sectors, the company aimed to generate revenue through its delivery and platform services. However, Pickery's operational phase was brief. The company was acquired by Flink, another player in the grocery delivery market, on December 1, 2020. Following the acquisition, Pickery GmbH entered liquidation, with Nikolas Bullwinkel appointed as the liquidator and Saad Saeed departing as Managing Director in April 2025.
