In 2013, the world of human resources was often stuck in the past, buried in paperwork and inefficient processes. A team of founders, including Çağatay Güney, Doruk Molo, Güçlü Özenci, and Mehmet Ali Özenci, saw an opportunity for a digital overhaul. They launched Peoplise in Istanbul, Turkey, with a clear mission: to create a modern, integrated platform for talent acquisition. The company developed a cloud-based system that was more than just an applicant tracking system (ATS). It brought everything into the digital age, offering tools for video interviews, social media recruiting, and detailed analytics. This allowed companies to not only speed up hiring but also to improve the experience for candidates and make smarter, data-driven decisions. Supported by venture capital from firms like Revo Capital and 500 Global, Peoplise grew its client base across various sectors. The playbook was working. The real turning point came in the spring of 2020. Logo Yazilim, a major Turkish software company, saw the strategic value in Peoplise's innovative HR technology. On April 20, 2020, Logo Yazilim announced it had signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Peoplise, a deal valued at over $1.6 million. The acquisition marked a successful exit for the founders and investors, validating their vision of building a comprehensive digital recruitment platform and integrating it into a larger software ecosystem.
