Parcelled was an on-demand, first-mile logistics startup founded in 2014 in Bengaluru, India, by a team that included IIT graduates and former Flipkart employees Xitij Kothi, Nikhil Bansal, Rikin Subhash Kachhia, Prateek Bhandari, and Abhishek Kumar Srivastava. The founders, several of whom had prior experience in logistics at Flipkart, identified a gap in the Indian market for a convenient first-mile courier service that handled the hassles of packaging and paperwork for the customer.

The company operated an online platform where customers could schedule a parcel pickup in as little as 30 minutes. Parcelled's field executives would then collect the item, provide customized packaging, and process the shipment through its logistics partners, which included major carriers like Delhivery, FedEx, and DHL. This model catered to individuals, for use cases like gifting, and also served a business-to-business segment, providing reverse logistics for e-commerce marketplaces and services for small e-commerce sellers. The service aimed to simplify the entire shipping process down to a single touchpoint for the user.

Parcelled demonstrated rapid early growth, expanding from 20 orders per day to over 1,000 within a few months of launch. This trajectory attracted strategic investment. In July 2015, the company secured an undisclosed seed round from logistics firm Delhivery and data analytics firm Tracxn Labs. This was quickly followed by a $5 million Series A round in October 2015, also led by Delhivery and Tracxn. The capital was intended to enhance its technology platform, expand the team, and grow its presence from 13 to 50 cities across India. However, despite its initial traction and funding, Parcelled eventually ceased operations and is now considered deadpooled.
