Founded in 2017 by Vitaly Krylov and Alexey Dmitriev, PapaJobs was a Moscow-based online job board focused on the blue-collar sector in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The company aimed to streamline the hiring process for both job seekers and employers in industries like retail and restaurants. It operated as a mobile application, promising to help candidates find work within 24 hours.
Before launching PapaJobs, co-founder Vitaly Krylov served as the CEO of Gett in Russia, a ride-hailing company. He transitioned from his corporate role to entrepreneurship to address the specific needs of the blue-collar job market. In 2019, the startup successfully raised $1 million from a group of private investors from Russia and Bahrain. However, the company has since ceased operations.
