Palabra AI is a London-based technology company that has developed an AI-powered speech translation engine. The company was founded by Artem Kukharenko, a former Samsung machine learning engineer, and Alexander Kabakov. The platform provides real-time, low-latency speech-to-speech translation, preserving the original speaker's voice with a latency under 800 milliseconds. It supports over 30 languages, equating to more than 1,000 language pairs.

Palabra's business model is centered on providing its technology to developers and enterprises through a proprietary API, enabling the integration of multilingual voice capabilities into any application. The service is utilized for live global events, virtual conferences, multilingual streaming, and customer support. Enterprise clients such as Agora and GIS Group use Palabra’s APIs and SDKs. In August 2025, Palabra AI announced it had raised $8.4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Seven Seven Six (776), the venture capital firm founded by Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The funding round also included participation from Creator Ventures and notable angel investors. The capital is intended to be used to accelerate engineering, expand go-to-market strategies, and scale the technology across Europe and North America.
