OnlineTyari, operated by Next Door Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd., is an online test preparation platform in India established in 2014. The company was founded by Vipin Agarwal, Bhola Meena, Udai Singh Meena, and Rajveer Meena. The founding team possesses a strong background in technology and business; Bhola Meena, an IIT Kanpur alumnus, previously worked at Microsoft for several years and co-founded the cab aggregator GetMeCab, while Vipin Agarwal, an IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Kanpur alumnus, founded enMarkit.com, a customer intelligence platform, and had experience with Kotak Private Equity and Nexus Venture Partners. The idea for OnlineTyari emerged from the founders' recognition of the significant gap in accessible, organized study materials for the millions of students in India preparing for government job exams.

The company targets the vast market of job aspirants preparing for competitive government examinations, including banking services, SSC, UPSC, GATE, and state-level jobs. Its business model functions as a transactional marketplace for educational content, partnering with coaching institutes, publishers, and tutors to provide curated materials on its platform. Revenue was initially generated through commissions on the sale of e-books and study materials and later transitioned to a subscription-based model called 'TyariPlus', which offers users unlimited access to content for an annual fee. The platform provides a comprehensive suite of tools for exam preparation, including question banks, mock tests, e-books, and current affairs updates. A key feature is its multilingual support, offering content in Hindi, English, and Marathi to cater to a diverse user base, addressing the digital divide by making materials accessible on mobile devices, even with low internet bandwidth.

Over its history, OnlineTyari raised a total of approximately $5.8 million in funding over several rounds, with major investors including the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation, 500 Global (formerly 500 Startups), and Mohandas Pai. A significant milestone was its acquisition of Plix. However, after facing challenges in securing further investment, the company was eventually acqui-hired by the Reliance-owned EdTech firm Embibe in a deal where the founding team joined Embibe and the intellectual property was transferred.
