OLX Uzbekistan is a prominent online classifieds platform where users can buy and sell a wide range of goods and services. The platform's categories include real estate, vehicles, electronics, jobs, and home goods. It operates as a consumer-to-consumer (C2C) and business-to-consumer (B2C) marketplace, allowing both individuals and businesses to post advertisements for free. Revenue is generated through premium services that offer enhanced visibility for listings.
Originally the Uzbek site Torg.com, it was rebranded to OLX in March 2015 after being acquired by the Naspers-owned OLX Group. This was part of a broader strategy by Naspers to rebrand its classifieds sites in several countries under the OLX name. In August 2025, TBC Bank Group, a London-listed financial services group, announced an agreement to acquire a majority stake in OLX Uzbekistan from its parent company, Prosus. The acquisition was conducted through a joint venture with Titan Investments, an international investment holding company, with TBC Bank holding 50% plus one share. The deal positioned OLX Uzbekistan to be integrated into TBC's digital ecosystem in the country, which includes a digital bank, payment apps, and insurance services.
As of August 2025, OLX.uz was the sixth-most visited website in Uzbekistan, with 5.4 million monthly active users and 2.2 million active listings. The platform serves over 20% of Uzbekistan's active internet users. The OLX brand will be maintained following the acquisition by TBC Bank Group.
