Noki Noki Services is a Congolese logistics company focused on last-mile delivery services in Central Africa. Founded in 2021 by Jonathan Yanghat, the startup, whose name means "fast fast" in Lingala, aims to simplify daily life through its digital platform. Yanghat, a graduate of the École des Experts Métiers de l'Informatique in Paris, started the company with a few motorcycles with the ambition of revolutionizing e-commerce and delivery on the continent.
The company's core services are accessible through its mobile application and include Noki Food for meal delivery, Noki Drive for supermarket and grocery shopping assistance, and Noki Express for general deliveries. To facilitate transactions, the company has also integrated its own payment system, Noki Pay. The business model is centered on providing on-demand delivery services for both individual users and businesses, operating in a last-mile delivery market in Africa that is experiencing significant annual growth.
Headquartered in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo, Noki Noki has expanded its operations to other cities, including Pointe-Noire, Dakar, Abidjan, and Libreville. By 2023, the company served over 10,000 users and had created 180 direct and indirect jobs. A major milestone was achieved in June 2024, when Noki Noki secured $3 million in a seed funding round led by the Hong Kong-based venture capital firm, Uma Ventures. This investment is intended to fuel further expansion, particularly into the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and to enhance its technological platform and service offerings.
