Founded in 2006 by Zikria Syed and Matt Walz, NextDocs established itself as a provider of compliance and document management software solutions tailored for the life sciences sector. Syed, with a background that includes roles at Microsoft and Siemens Medical Systems and as CEO of clinical trial management software company Broadpeak, brought significant industry experience to the venture. Walz holds an M.B.A. and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Delaware.
The company's core business revolves around providing software that assists pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies in adhering to regulations from bodies like the FDA and EMA.
