NAVER Cloud originated from NAVER Business Platform, which was established in 2009. The public cloud service was launched in 2017, and the company was rebranded to NAVER Cloud in 2020. Building on the parent company's two decades of experience in operating large-scale IT services, the platform leverages eco-friendly data centers and has achieved numerous global security certifications. This robust infrastructure was showcased when it enabled the live broadcast of a BTS concert to 140,000 global viewers and supported the national COVID-19 vaccine reservation system. The company is actively expanding its global presence with data centers and offices across Asia, Europe, and the US, aiming to become a top three cloud provider in the Asia-Pacific region.
