N7 Mobile, a Warsaw-based software development company, was founded in 2011 as a joint initiative by three students from the Warsaw University of Technology. In a significant strategic expansion, N7 Mobile broadened its activities to include the space industry, which led to the establishment of its subsidiary, N7 Space, in 2018. N7 Space was formed as a joint venture with the Belgian company SPACEBEL and focuses on developing critical software for space projects, often for the European Space Agency (ESA). This subsidiary specializes in on-board software for satellite systems, utilizing SPARC or ARM architectures, and adheres to rigorous ESA ECSS standards. Projects include work on bootloader and BSP for microcontrollers used in space applications and software for the PROBA3 mission. This diversification highlights the company's capacity to handle highly specialized and mission-critical software development, complementing its core business in the mobile, telecom, and financial technology sectors.
