mShipper India Pvt. Ltd. operated a crowd-sourced delivery platform focused on the intra-city logistics market in Delhi-NCR. The company was founded in 2015 by a team that included Ranvijay Singh, Saurav Sagar, and Vishwa Bhaskar. Singh, the CEO, was a serial entrepreneur with a background in business development and digital marketing from his previous ventures, Sicobe and LetmeRank. This experience in digital marketing was shared with co-founder Saurav Sagar, who had also worked at the same agency.

The business was established to provide a faster and more economical delivery solution for small businesses, e-tailers, and retailers by leveraging a shared economy model. The platform connected senders with registered and verified individuals who acted as freelance shippers, using their regular commutes to deliver low-weight consignments. This model aimed to offer a more personalized delivery experience and reduce costs for clients. The service required both senders and shippers to create profiles and undergo online and physical identity verification to ensure security.

Financially, mShipper secured an initial seed funding round of $77,000 (Rs 50 lakh) in October 2015 from angel investor Vijai Laxmi. These funds were allocated towards enhancing the product, advertising, and expanding operations within the Delhi/NCR region. In early 2016, the company explored an acquisition of Spieler IT Solution to bolster its technology but the deal did not materialize. A significant milestone was its selection for Facebook's FbStart program in March 2017, which included a grant and access to various tech services. However, the company faced significant operational challenges, particularly after the demonetization period in India, which led to a 70% drop in orders, most of which were cash-on-delivery. Consequently, in May 2017, mShipper scaled back its operations, discontinuing services for individual clients to focus on its small and medium enterprise segment while aiming to revamp its technology platform. Corporate records indicate the company's legal status is now "Strike Off".
