Motive Power Charging

Motive Power is focused on designing, building, operating, and enhancing fast, reliable, and flexible EV charging installations to connect the Canadian Maritimes. The company aims to address the growing demand for electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the region, where 1.5% of light-duty vehicles are fully electric, a number expected to rise. Motive Power serves EV drivers in the Maritimes who face issues such as long wait times and broken chargers at existing stations. The company is currently in the pre-seed funding stage to build its first pilot station by the end of summer 2023. This pilot will validate the integration of various technologies and processes required for a successful charging station. Following the pilot, Motive Power plans to raise a seed round in early 2024 to fund an initial network of 37 stations across the Maritimes.
