Morning operates as a specialized provider of workplace solutions, primarily focusing on the Paris and Île-de-France region. The company was established in 2014 by Clément Alteresco, who currently serves as the CEO. Alteresco's journey into the coworking sector began after his business studies and the successful launch of the ticketing platform Digitick. In 2008, he moved to San Francisco and started his first coworking space, PARISOMA. This experience led him to found Bureaux à Partager (now Ubiq) in France in 2012, a platform for renting surplus office space, before launching Morning.

Initially, Morning's business model centered on the temporary occupation of buildings undergoing restructuring, which allowed for lower rental costs and minimized property vacancy for owners. This strategy involved transforming these spaces into short- to medium-term workspaces. Over time, the company has shifted towards securing long-term leases and has expanded its services significantly. In early 2019, French real estate group Nexity acquired a majority stake in the company, providing capital to accelerate its expansion. The company rebranded from "Morning Coworking" to "Morning" in 2020 to reflect its broader service portfolio.

Morning's business encompasses several vertically integrated activities. The core offering is providing flexible workspaces, from private offices and independent floors to entire buildings, catering to freelancers, SMEs, and large corporations. Beyond space rental, the company provides custom, turnkey office design and layout services. To support this, Morning has brought the entire implementation chain in-house, from construction and design to final decoration, and even manufactures its own line of eco-responsible furniture. Additionally, the company offers event management services within its locations. Revenue is generated through these diverse streams: workspace rental, fees for office design and fitting, furniture sales, and event hosting. In October 2022, Morning achieved B Corp certification, recognizing its commitment to high social and environmental performance standards.
