Founded in 2016, Moovita is a Singapore-based technology firm specializing in the development of autonomous vehicle systems for urban environments. The company was established by Anthony Wong and Limbu Dilip Kumar, who serve as co-founders. Moovita's core business involves designing and deploying roadworthy autonomous vehicles and providing its full-stack, vehicle-agnostic driverless software solutions to partners. This technology is engineered to transform various vehicle types into autonomous platforms suitable for diverse applications, including first and last-mile transportation, logistics, agriculture, and utility solutions.

Moovita's business model centers on licensing its autonomous driving technology and integrating it into mobile platforms for different partners and collaborators. The company targets a range of clients, from urban municipalities and public transport operators to hotels, resorts, industrial parks, and commercial offices. A key product is the "MooBox", a software suite that equips vehicles with the intelligence to perceive their environment, make decisions, and operate without a driver. The company has successfully secured Series A funding from a consortium of investors. In June 2021, Yinson Holdings and SMRT Ventures co-invested in the firm, with Yinson acting as the lead investor. This was followed by further investment from 1Derlife Growth and SEEDS Capital, the investment arm of Enterprise Singapore, in late 2021. These funds are aimed at accelerating the development, commercialization, and international expansion of Moovita's driverless solutions, with an initial focus on Singapore and Malaysia. The firm has also established strategic partnerships, such as one with automotive supplier Desay SV, to jointly develop Level 3 to Level 4+ autonomous driving applications.
