Mitra Solutions
Digital marketplace and transaction platform that aggregates providers and solutions for insurance and property management companies.
Mitra Solutions AG, founded in Winterthur, Switzerland, in 2018 by Dandolo Flumini, Joris Morger, Nicolas Gagliani, and Alberto Ribeiro Silveira, operated as an InsurTech platform focused on automating insurance claims management. The company developed a system using a domain-specific language to digitize insurance contracts and automate the entire claims handling process, from damage reports to coverage checks and payment calculations. Its core product, later known as Mira, featured a visual drag-and-drop contract builder that transformed complex policy terms into "smart contracts." This technology was designed to dynamically generate relevant questions for a specific claim, guide the user through the submission, and enable automated coverage assessment, thereby reducing manual processing efforts for insurance companies.
In September 2022, Mitra Solutions was acquired by and became a fully-owned subsidiary of Jarowa AG, a digital marketplace and transaction platform founded in 2017. Following the acquisition, Mitra Solutions was integrated into the Jarowa ecosystem and now operates under the Jarowa brand (yarowa.com). The acquisition built upon a successful collaboration that began in the third quarter of 2021. The integration of Mitra's technology enhances Jarowa's offering by providing its clients with fully automated coverage checks, damage calculation, and extensive data analytics.
Jarowa serves as a digital marketplace connecting institutional clients like insurance companies, property managers, and leasing firms with a network of service providers across mobility, property & trades, healthcare, and legal advice sectors. The platform's business model facilitates the digital management of the entire claims and service order process. For instance, in an insurance claim, the system automatically assesses the claim, selects an appropriate service provider from its network, and processes the settlement digitally for all parties involved. For service providers, the platform offers access to a larger client base and digitizes their workflow from order reception to invoicing, operating on a per-order billing basis.
