In 1998, Yuriy Kosyuk started a business that would grow from a single enterprise into MHP, an international leader in the food and agri-tech industry. The company began with a focus on building a vertically integrated model, a key strategic decision. This meant controlling the entire production process, from growing grains for feed on its vast land bank of 360,000 hectares to producing and distributing the final food products. A pivotal moment in MHP's journey came in May 2008, when it became the first Ukrainian agricultural company to launch an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. This event was a significant milestone, providing the company with access to international capital and fueling its expansion. Following the IPO, MHP continued its growth, acquiring other agricultural enterprises and expanding its production capabilities. Today, MHP is one of the largest poultry producers in Europe. Headquartered in Kyiv, the company's operations have expanded beyond Ukraine to include facilities in the Balkans and distribution offices in countries like the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia. It exports more than half of its products to over 80 countries worldwide. In recent years, MHP has been transforming from a raw material producer into a culinary company, developing a diverse portfolio of over 15 food brands.
