Mine'd is a digital platform for emotional health, connecting users with wellness experts and a supportive community through daily live and on-demand classes. Launched in August 2020 and sometimes referred to as the "Peloton for Mental Wellness," the platform operates as a subscription-based service, making access to a wide range of knowledge affordable.
The company was co-founded by CEO Aaron Albert and Mark Groves. Albert, a wellness-tech entrepreneur, was inspired to create the platform after a difficult breakup left him feeling his value was tied to someone else and he struggled to find a safe space to cope. His background includes co-creating Absolute Cycle, the largest chain of boutique spin studios in Southeast Asia, and working with other wellness and tech companies like Shine Text and Julianne Hough's KINRGY. Groves, known as "Create The Love," is a human connection specialist with a large online following. Together, they developed Mine'd starting in 2019 to provide a more accessible and community-driven approach to emotional wellbeing.
Mine'd offers sessions on a wide variety of topics, including relationships, spirituality, career, self-love, and financial empowerment, led by vetted experts such as psychotherapists, life coaches, and spiritual healers. Users can interact with experts and other community members during live sessions. The platform aims to fill a gap in the market by providing a communal and interactive alternative to traditional therapy, which can be expensive and intimidating for newcomers. In January 2022, the company announced it had raised $3.5 million in a funding round led by Listen Ventures, with participation from Route 66 Ventures, Joyance Partners, and WNDRCO, among others.
