Millenicom

Millenicom is a telecommunications company in Turkey, founded in 2004 to be a leading alternative operator in the liberalized Turkish telecommunication market. The company, which previously operated under the name Doping İnternet, was acquired by Albaraka Portföy Yönetimi A.Ş. Dördüncü Karma Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Fonu as of October 30, 2024. Prior to this, it was part of SOCAR Turkey's portfolio since June 2019.

The company provides a range of telecommunication services to approximately 400,000 individual and corporate customers. Its core offerings include commitment-free, unlimited fiber, ADSL, and VDSL internet services, as well as fixed telephone services. For its business clients, including SMEs, Millenicom delivers fixed-line telephone, broadband, and office communication solutions, along with IP-based cloud solutions that serve over 3,000 corporate users. The business model focuses on providing the same infrastructure and internet speed as competitors but at more affordable, non-committal prices, supported by 24/7 call center and WhatsApp support. In 2007, Millenicom launched Turkey's first "call-by-call operator selection" service, known as 1045, which has been used by over two million unique landline subscribers.

Millenicom holds licenses from the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) for Fixed Telephony Service (STH), Internet Service Provider (ISP), and Infrastructure Operations (AİH). As of the fourth quarter of 2021, the company held the 6th largest market share among internet service providers in Turkey, at 1.6%.
