The business initially launched as India's first exclusive men's jewelry brand, offering a collection of bracelets, chains, pendants, and rings crafted from materials like brass, gold, and silver. Operating on a D2C model, Meta Man sells its products primarily through its website, with prices starting from approximately INR 1,999. In a strategic move to broaden its market presence, Meta Man acquired Drip Project, a luxury jewelry brand focused on a millennial audience, in 2023 for $1 million. This acquisition also brought Drip Project's co-founder, Harsh Maskara, on board as a co-founder of Meta Man.
The company has successfully attracted significant investment, securing a $1 million seed round in November 2022 from a consortium of notable investors, including Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath, Accel Partners' Prashanth Prakash, and cricketer KL Rahul. By mid-2025, its total funding had reached $1.22 million over three rounds from 64 investors. Recently, the brand expanded its product portfolio into the fragrance market, launching a line of premium perfumes with financial backing and a brand ambassadorship from KL Rahul.
