Menway Group operates as a diversified human resources services firm, providing a comprehensive suite of solutions to businesses. The company was founded in Metz, France, in 2002 by Jean-Louis Petruzzi, who currently serves as the company's Chairman and CEO. Petruzzi's journey in the HR sector began in 1983, leading to the creation of his first temporary employment company in 1987, which grew to become a major player in France before he sold it in 2001. A year later, he established the Hominis group, which was subsequently rebranded as Menway in 2013.
The company's business model is structured around four complementary pillars: Temporary and Permanent Recruitment, HR Consulting and Health & Quality of Life at Work (QVT), Transition Management, and Executive Search. This structure allows Menway to cater to a wide range of clients, from SMEs and ETIs to large corporations, including a third of the CAC 40 companies. Revenue is generated through fees for recruitment services, consulting mandates, and temporary staffing solutions. In 2023, the group reported a turnover of €175 million.
Menway has pursued a consistent strategy of external growth through strategic acquisitions to enhance its service offerings. Key acquisitions include Prévia in 2021 to strengthen its health and work-life quality services, and MCG Managers and Pros-Consulte Group in 2022 to bolster its transition management and psychosocial risk prevention capabilities. More recently, the acquisition of Weem in 2025, a platform for high-level independent talent, significantly reinforced Menway's position in the premium consulting and transition management market. The company operates through a network of approximately 80 locations, ensuring close proximity to regional employment markets.
