Me.reka is a Malaysian education technology and social enterprise established in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur by the Biji-biji Group. The venture was born from the Biji-biji Initiative, a broader social enterprise focused on sustainability, which was founded in 2013 by a group of visionaries including Rashvin Pal Singh, Zoe Victoria, Azam Hisham, and Gurpheet Dhillon. This foundation in sustainability and social impact is a core component of Me.reka's operational DNA.

The company's business model revolves around providing alternative education and talent development with a strong emphasis on real-world application, digital skills, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. Me.reka serves a diverse client base, including international development agencies, government bodies, corporations, and educational institutions. A significant milestone was achieved in 2018 when Me.reka successfully raised over RM1.6 million (approximately US$380,000) through an equity crowdfunding campaign on the pitchIN platform, which enabled the expansion of its makerspace and digital platform.

Me.reka's core service offerings include designing and implementing training programs focused on 21st-century skills. A key physical asset is its flagship 12,000-square-foot makerspace in Publika, Kuala Lumpur, which houses facilities like a textile lab, wood/metal workshop, electronics lab, and 3D printing equipment. The company also provides makerspace consultancy and has established a second location at Taylor's University. Complementing its physical spaces is the Mereka.io digital platform, which functions as a booking system for individuals to access educational and upskilling resources. This ecosystem is designed to foster a community of innovators and prepare talent for the future freelance economy. Through partnerships with organizations like UNICEF Malaysia and MDEC, Me.reka has also extended its reach to underserved communities, providing digital literacy programs to out-of-school children.
