Founded in 2023 by Dr. João Vitor Innecco, Marisacare is a healthtech company that utilizes artificial intelligence to identify gaps and enhance the patient care journey. The inspiration for the company came from a personal family experience, which highlighted diagnostic delays caused by failures in follow-up and management, underscoring the need for intelligent tools to map and prioritize health risks.

The company's platform employs AI agents across three main verticals. The first, Communication Agents, automates patient contact through voice and text interactions, such as phone calls and WhatsApp messages, using natural language to ensure effective engagement. The second, Clinical Evidence Agents, gathers and structures patient data, interpreting symptoms, family history, and prescriptions to apply validated criteria for identifying risks. The third vertical, Data, consolidates all information generated by the other agents to create strategic dashboards for patient management, from initial contact to complex treatments.

Marisacare serves both private healthcare networks and Brazil's public Unified Health System (SUS), impacting over 5 million lives. The company has secured R$ 8 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Afya, a prominent hub for medical education and solutions in Brazil. This investment is intended to accelerate the company's growth, support its expansion into Latin America, fund new product development, and facilitate integration with hospitals and healthcare operators. The company is already establishing a presence in Mexico. Marisacare is also part of several innovation programs, including Microsoft for Startups, NVIDIA Inception, Cubo Health, and InterSystems.
