Mangal Electrical Industries Limited is an integrated power infrastructure company specializing in the manufacture and processing of transformers and their components. The firm's product portfolio includes transformer laminations, CRGO (cold-rolled grain-oriented) slit coils, amorphous cores, coil and core assemblies, wound cores, toroidal cores, and oil-immersed circuit breakers. It also produces transformers with capacities from single-phase 5 KVA up to three-phase 10 MVA and provides Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for setting up electrical substations.
The company was initially founded as a partnership firm in 1989 and was later incorporated as Mangal Electrical Industries Private Limited in 2008. It transitioned to a public limited company in 2024. The business is led by its Founder and Managing Director, Rahul Mangal. Mangal Electrical Industries operates five production facilities in Rajasthan, India, and serves a diverse client base that includes government utilities, public sector undertakings, and private energy producers. The company has also exported its components to various countries, including the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, the USA, Italy, and Nepal.
The company's business model is divided into three main revenue streams: transformer components, which account for approximately 70% of revenue; manufacturing of medium power transformers (23%); and EPC services (7%). In August 2025, Mangal Electrical launched an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on the BSE and NSE to raise ₹400 crore. The proceeds are intended for repaying outstanding borrowings, funding capital expenditure for facility expansion, and meeting working capital requirements.
