LyteHorse Labs, a Canadian company founded in 2018 by brothers Brad and Allen Bonk, specializes in the development and manufacturing of electric, all-terrain, stand-up vehicles. Brad Bonk, who has a background in building motorcycles and hot rods, initially conceived a stand-up vehicle for golf courses. The LyteHorse vehicle features a four-wheel-drive system with independent hub motors in each wheel, providing redundancy and stability. It weighs around 600 pounds, can reach speeds of up to 40 mph, and has a towing capacity of up to 2,500 pounds. The vehicle's standard battery configuration offers a range of approximately 80 miles, with options for extended-range batteries. Designed for all terrains, it can navigate through water up to two feet deep. Its stand-up design provides a higher vantage point and allows for easy mounting and dismounting, a feature highlighted for law enforcement and military use. The company offers extensive customization options, including racks, storage, and accessory mounts to adapt the vehicle for specific tasks.
