Logovia

Logovia is a Brazilian online marketplace for graphic design and marketing services, operating as a self-service platform connecting businesses with a large network of freelance designers. The company primarily targets micro and small enterprises, offering a way to source creative materials through design contests. In May 2015, Logovia merged with its competitor, We Do Logos, in a move to consolidate the Brazilian market and pursue international expansion into Latin America. Following the merger, both brands continued to operate, with Logovia positioned as the more accessible, self-service option, while We Do Logos offered a more consultative, hands-on approach. The combined entity became the largest graphic design platform in Latin America, boasting a network of approximately 100,000 designers and having served around 30,000 clients by the time of the fusion. Before the merger, Logovia had received angel investment and a Series A funding round from an Israeli fund. The joint company's CEO was Gustavo Mota, founder of We Do Logos, and the management team included Carmelo Queiroz as Director of Expansion.

The business model is based on creative competition, where a client posts a project brief and designers submit their proposals. The client then chooses the winning design. This model aims to democratize access to professional design for smaller businesses that might not have the resources for traditional design agencies. By 2015, the merged companies projected a user base of 300,000 and a turnover of R$ 8 million.
