KRYFS Power Components Ltd. is an Indian manufacturer specializing in transformer components and electrical steel processing. The company was co-founded in December 1992 by Saif F. Qureishi, an IIM Bangalore graduate, and his father, the late F.B. Qureishi. Saif Qureishi aimed to restructure the unorganized CRGO (Cold Rolled Grain Oriented) lamination industry. His father, who had experience running a small electrical equipment unit, managed the company's finances in the early days, allowing Saif to focus on growth. The business began with a single plant in Palghar, Maharashtra, with a production capacity of 120 metric tons per annum.

KRYFS has since grown significantly, now operating ten manufacturing facilities across several Indian states and employing over 750 people. Its production capacity for converting CRGO electrical steel into transformer laminations and cores has reached 50,000 metric tons per annum. In 2012, Toyota Tsusho Corporation, a subsidiary of Toyota Motors, acquired a strategic stake in the company, which later increased to 20%. Key milestones include receiving its first export order in 2000, becoming India's first ISO 9001 certified lamination manufacturer, and acquiring Pratik Transformers Pvt. Ltd. in 2012, now known as KRYFS Transformers Pvt. Ltd.

The company's business model covers the energy supply value chain, from solar power generation and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) for transmission to manufacturing for distribution. It serves major transformer manufacturers in India and exports to over 40 countries. Its product portfolio includes distribution and medium-power transformers, transformer cores and laminations up to the 765 kV class, transformer tanks, and wound cores. KRYFS also offers an IoT-based solution called BOLA for real-time remote monitoring of electrical assets. The company serves clients such as Tata Power, Siemens, and various state electricity boards.
