Subsequently, in September 2019, the print-on-demand and API business Prodigi Group acquired Kite.ly from Canon. This move was aimed at combining Prodigi's vertically integrated manufacturing and global reach with Kite.ly's software expertise to enhance the service offerings for their combined customer base.
