KANFA Group operates as an independent process design and engineering company, delivering modular process solutions and services to the global energy market. Founded in 2000 by five engineers with multidisciplinary expertise, the company initially focused on providing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services for the floating production market, particularly for Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) units. Their offerings include standardized and modularized systems for carbon capture, treatment, and liquefaction. A key product is the Canopy C10, a modular carbon capture plant developed in partnership with Shell, designed for small-scale emitters. For instance, KANFA was awarded a contract by Carbon Centric to build a plant at a waste incineration facility in Norway, designed to capture over 90% of its CO2 emissions. The company also provides heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) systems to improve the efficiency of gas generators and reduce emissions.
