Kammu Inc. is a financial technology company that aims to remove psychological barriers to financial services. Founded in January 2011 by Wataru Yamaki, the company provides software-based financial solutions. Yamaki, a Keio University graduate in Information Engineering, started his career as a data analysis engineer before establishing Kammu.

The company's primary product, launched in September 2016, is the 'Vandle Card,' a Visa prepaid card application. This service allows users to instantly issue a virtual Visa card from their smartphone, targeting individuals who do not have other card payment methods or are hesitant to use traditional credit cards. The Vandle Card app surpassed 13 million downloads by August 2025. It features a post-payment charge function, enabling users to manage the entire process of card issuance, charging, and payment from home.

In 2022, Kammu expanded its product line with the launch of 'Pool,' a credit card designed to assist with asset formation by utilizing investment returns and cash back for payments. The company also offers 'Sakutto Fundraising,' a service for businesses to quickly convert future sales into cash. Kammu's business model focuses on making financial services more accessible and integrated into daily life, operating as a licensed Type II Financial Instruments Business and a Prepaid Payment Instrument Issuer for Third-Party Business. Over the years, Kammu has secured significant funding, including a notable capital and business alliance with Seven Bank in 2020. In 2022, the company was acquired by MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group).
