Shandong Jingzhi Wine Co., Ltd. is a prominent Chinese liquor company with a history rooted in the ancient wine-making town of Jingzhi, Shandong. The modern enterprise was established in 1948 through the consolidation of 72 local private breweries, making it one of the earliest state-owned liquor enterprises in China. In 1993, the company was restructured into a joint-stock company. The company's chairman is Liu Quanping.
The company's business model centers on the production and sale of Baijiu, a traditional Chinese spirit. It has diversified its operations to include cultural tourism, with two national AAAA-level tourist attractions, "Wine City" and "Qilu Wine Land," as well as interests in thermal power generation and packaging. Jingzhi operates with an annual production capacity of 100,000 metric tons and has expanded its market reach internationally, exporting to countries including the United States, Germany, Singapore, and South Korea.
Jingzhi's product portfolio is extensive, featuring four main series: the sesame-flavor "Yipin Jingzhi," the strong-aroma "Jingyangchun," the traditional clear-aroma "Jingzhi Baigan," and the "Year Jingzhi" series. The company is particularly recognized for pioneering the sesame-flavor Baijiu, a category for which it helped establish the national standard. Its brands have received numerous accolades, including the "China Time-Honored Brand" designation for Jingyangchun and Jingzhi Baigan. The "Jingzhi Baigan" brand was notably exhibited at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915.
