JettaPlus, also known as Jetta, was an online marketplace targeting the travel industry. Founded in May 2015 by Karin Savitsky, Alexey Zatsepin, and Mika Shatz, the company was established in Tel Aviv, Israel. The leadership team consisted of Karin Savitsky as CEO, Mika Shatz as COO, and Alexey Zatsepin as CTO. The core business of JettaPlus was to provide a platform for travelers who held nonrefundable but transferable flight tickets. It functioned as a peer-to-peer marketplace where these individuals could sell their unused tickets to other buyers, thereby recouping some of their costs.
The business model centered on verifying the validity and transferability of the tickets submitted by sellers before listing them on the platform for potential buyers. In August 2016, the company secured an undisclosed amount of seed funding from one investor, Besadno Investment Group. JettaPlus operated with a small team of 1-10 employees. The company is now considered inactive, with operations reportedly ceasing around February 2021.
