Jamm

Jamm is a social health tech startup that operates a members-only social network designed to facilitate in-person connections and combat urban loneliness. The platform, based in Bengaluru, India, was founded in 2024 by Able Joseph, who previously founded the dating app Aisle. Joseph's experience with Aisle revealed a user desire for casual conversations to combat loneliness, which inspired the creation of Jamm.

The company aims to improve the social health of its members by encouraging small, intimate offline gatherings called "Jamms" for up to eight people. Users can apply for a free but limited membership and, once accepted, can either host their own Jamm centered around an activity like a brunch, board games, or a bike ride, or request to join existing ones. The platform includes features for group chats to coordinate plans, profile reviews to build authenticity, and "Circles" which act as curated lists of people with similar interests. Jamm operates in the emerging Social Health Tech space, targeting the widespread issue of social isolation, particularly among urban youth in the post-pandemic era.

Jamm is a product of Jamm Labs, a Bangalore-based company also founded by Able Joseph, which focuses on building social products centered on intention and community. The startup secured an undisclosed amount in a Seed funding round in May 2025 from the institutional investor Callapina.
