ITango

The story of iTango begins in 1978, founded by Stephen Watson in Seattle. The company set out to tackle a problem for small and medium-sized businesses: managing human resources information. iTango developed software that allowed companies to organize and personalize HR data on their internal networks, or intranets. The goal was straightforward: help businesses cut administrative costs, increase productivity, and improve employee satisfaction by creating a central HR management system. While it secured funding from investors like Kinetic Ventures, the company eventually ceased operations and is now considered deadpooled.
