DigitalLead operates as Denmark's national cluster for digital technologies, functioning as a non-profit organization that connects the country's digital ecosystem. The organization was designated as the national cluster for the period of 2025 to 2028 by Denmark's Board of Business Development, continuing its mission to enhance the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The cluster originated from the merger of previous clusters, BrainsBusiness and it-forum, and now has a member base of over 600 organizations, with more than 500 being SMEs.

It serves both companies developing digital solutions and those in other sectors needing to implement them. The cluster offers access to test facilities and living labs for developing digital solutions and runs an accelerator program called Beyond Beta, which is tailored for growth-stage startups needing mentorship for scaling, internationalization, and attracting investment. Furthermore, DigitalLead provides hands-on support for its members in project development, from initial idea and partner matchmaking to writing funding applications and project management. A notable initiative is the Cyber Hub, which unites companies and academic institutions to develop solutions against cybercrime.
