In July 2025, the business assets of Interstar Materials were acquired by Saint-Gobain, a global leader in light and sustainable construction. This acquisition was part of Saint-Gobain's strategy to expand its construction chemicals platform in North America. Interstar continues to operate under its own brand within the Saint-Gobain Group, with its president, Zachary Gillman, expressing that the partnership would create new opportunities. The acquisition brought 55 Interstar employees into the Saint-Gobain organization.
