Inklocker operated as an on-demand printing platform provider focused on the apparel sector, founded in 2013 with Brandon Sowers serving as CEO. The company established a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that created a network of independent print shops across various locations. This network was designed for lead generation and load balancing, enabling participating print shops to share and accept print jobs from one another. A key feature of the system was the ability for shops to offload work to other trusted printers within the network, ensuring continuous service even during equipment downtime.

The business model centered on providing software that empowered the end customer to design and customize their entire apparel order directly. For the print shops, this streamlined the process to simply receiving the finalized order and scanning a barcode for production. The platform aimed to help clients scale their direct-to-garment (DTG) printing requirements, offering a straightforward solution for local printing and merchandise customization. Inklocker's primary clients were these individual print shops.

The company's financing history included a Seed Round in October 2016 and an Early Stage VC round in January 2017, followed by participation in an accelerator/incubator program in February 2019.
