InfraFund is a UK-based, SEIS-eligible fintech company building a platform to modernise capital allocation for renewable energy and nature-based infrastructure. It addresses the persistent climate financing gap by redesigning access to capital for small and medium-sized project developers, who are often excluded from slow, expensive, and restrictive traditional project finance channels.
InfraFund’s platform enables developers to tokenize real-world assets such as solar farms, wind turbines, or carbon sequestration rights into fractional, tradable digital tokens. This creates liquid, transparent, and verifiable ownership structures that attract a broader pool of global capital, lowering transaction costs and accelerating funding timelines. Investors gain direct, traceable exposure to tangible climate projects, moving beyond opaque green funds or purely donation-based models.
The technology stack is built around compliance-focused RWA tokenization standards (including ERC-3643) to ensure regulatory alignment and interoperability. AI-driven digital twins create dynamic virtual models of each project, offering real-time performance data, predictive risk analysis, and enhanced transparency for investors. A planned transition to Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO) governance aims to further align stakeholder incentives through transparent, community-led decision-making.
InfraFund is currently in pre-seed stage and has achieved early validation through incubation at SETsquared (Europe’s leading university incubator) and Uniswap Hook Incubator. It has been selected for multiple Innovate UK programmes and received the SETsquared 2024 Environmental Impact Award. The company's objective is to serve as essential financial infrastructure for the green transition, supporting faster, broader, and more efficient investment in renewable energy and nature-based solutions to help close the climate funding gap.
