In Press
Integrated corporate communication and reputation management solutions.
In 1988, Brazilian journalist Kiki Moretti, alongside her husband and partner Ivandel Godinho, decided to venture into the world of corporate communications, founding In Press. Starting as a classic press advisory firm, the company was born from Moretti's background in journalism and an identified need for more strategic corporate storytelling. Based in Rio de Janeiro, the agency quickly established itself, expanding to São Paulo within a few years to tap into Brazil's economic heartland. A key turning point came in 1999 when In Press formed a partnership with the American PR firm Porter Novelli, which belonged to the global communications giant, Omnicom Group. This association allowed the Brazilian agency to adopt the In Press Porter Novelli brand and gain access to international methodologies and clients. The playbook was working, and the firm continued its growth trajectory, opening a Brasília office in 2003 to manage clients' needs within the country's political capital. The next major event occurred in 2014 when Omnicom Group deepened its relationship, becoming a shareholder in the company. This paved the way for the creation of Grupo In Press, a holding company that began to acquire and represent other major international PR brands in Brazil, such as FleishmanHillard. This strategic move transformed In Press from a single agency into a diversified communications powerhouse, offering a complete suite of services from public relations to digital marketing and data analysis.
