Impulso is a Swedish retail technology company founded in 2022 by fashion industry veterans Mathias Olsteg and David Thunmarker. The firm developed a data-sharing platform to address the lack of real-time data exchange between fashion brands and retailers. This information gap often leads to overproduction, low margins, and increased business risk for both parties. The founders' extensive backgrounds in the fashion industry, including roles at major brands and department stores like Tiger of Sweden, Oscar Jacobson, and NK, provided them with firsthand experience of these challenges.
Impulso's core product is a SaaS solution, the "Product Tracker," which provides brands with immediate visibility into sell-through and inventory data from their retail partners. This enables brands and retailers to track product performance, facilitate faster reordering and redistribution of goods, and improve demand forecasting. By creating this data rail, the company aims to increase sales, minimize overproduction, and foster more profitable and sustainable partnerships within the fashion value chain. The platform serves fashion brands, retailers, and agencies/wholesalers, creating a collaborative ecosystem. In June 2025, Impulso announced a €6 million seed funding round led by 42CAP, with participation from Spintop Ventures, to support its international expansion.
