Izmir Network and Innovation Centre (NIC) operates under the Competitive Sectors Programme, funded by the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, and is implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology. The project, with a budget of 3 million Euros, is designed to support SMEs, startups, and entrepreneurs by equipping them with essential metrics and a global mindset necessary for investor attraction and market expansion. NIC offers a growth-focused accelerator program that includes customized training and need-based mentoring sessions. The center aims to elevate the local ecosystem to international standards, fostering a competitive environment for businesses to thrive. By collaborating with partners like Teknopark, the Institute of Technology, and the Software Industrialists Association YASAD, NIC provides a comprehensive platform for business development and innovation.
