In 1991, amidst Japan's bubble economy collapse, Tetsuo Iwamoto started I'LL Inc. with a team of five in a small apartment room. Initially, they didn't have any system engineers and began by reselling systems from a major IT company, a bold move for a startup. Iwamoto's vision was to offer services that were truly customer-focused, especially for small and medium-sized companies that struggled to utilize computers effectively. The company's core business revolves around system integration services. They developed their own sales management software, "Aladdin Office," released in 2004, which became a key product. Recognizing the rise of e-commerce, they launched "CROSS MALL" in 2009, a cloud-based service for managing multiple online shops. This strategy, which they call "CROSS-OVER Synergy," aims to support the digital transformation of companies by integrating real-world and web capabilities. The journey included a significant challenge during the Lehman Shock, which caused the company's first decrease in revenue and profit. This event prompted Iwamoto to take a more direct role in operations and led to internal reforms that ultimately strengthened the company's unity. A major milestone was the company's initial public offering (IPO) on the Osaka Stock Exchange in June 2007. This was followed by a series of advancements, moving to the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Second Section in 2018 and the prestigious TSE First Section in July 2019, now known as the Prime Market.
