Hyundai Capital Services is the financial services unit of the Hyundai Motor Group, providing a range of consumer and corporate financial products. In response to the evolving mobility landscape, the company has expanded its business model to include subscription and rental mobility products and car-sharing services. A significant milestone was a strategic partnership with General Electric in 2004, which enhanced its capabilities in risk management, product design, and IT, though GE later sold its stake. The company has also issued green bonds to finance environmentally friendly projects, becoming the first private firm in Korea to do so in 2016.
