In 2002, the company secured $12 million in funding from investors including Morgan Stanley to expand its sales and development. A significant event in the company's journey occurred in the fall of 2010. Under the leadership of CEO Peter Klante, Hyperformix was acquired by CA Technologies. The acquisition was a strategic move for CA Technologies to strengthen its offerings for the rapidly growing cloud and virtual environments. Hyperformix's predictive analytics were seen as a key component to help customers manage the shift to the cloud, solidifying the company's legacy in the evolution of IT infrastructure management.
