Hyatt Regency Greenwich
Upscale hotel with extensive event and recreational facilities.
The Hyatt Regency Greenwich is a hospitality property located in Old Greenwich, Connecticut, providing upscale lodging, dining, and event services to business and leisure travelers. The hotel operates on a fee-for-service model, generating revenue from room bookings, food and beverage sales, and hosting corporate and social events.
Originally built in 1986 on the former site of Condé Nast's printing operations, the hotel has a history of incorporating elements of its past, including retaining and renovating the publisher's iconic tower. In October 2022, Trinity Investments, a private real estate investment firm, acquired the hotel from Hyatt. Subsequently, Trinity sold a majority interest to an affiliate of Certares Real Estate Management in August 2025, establishing a new shared ownership structure. Hyatt continues to manage the hotel's operations under a long-term agreement.
The property recently completed a $35-40 million renovation, which modernized its 374 guest rooms and suites, public areas, and event spaces. The redesign drew inspiration from the 1920s Art Deco era and the building's history with Condé Nast. The hotel features over 35,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a refreshed junior ballroom and a distinctive four-story garden atrium. Amenities include an indoor saltwater lap pool, a 24-hour fitness center, a salon, and multiple dining options like Townsend Bar, Glenna's Café & Market, and The Library Lounge. A notable addition is the Townsend Cinema, a 40-seat luxury movie theater.
