In July 2018, the real estate private equity firm Gaw Capital Partners, through its European Hospitality Fund, acquired a 50% stake in the group, forming a joint venture with the Spanish investment company Omega Capital, owned by Alicia Koplowitz. This partnership valued the group's assets at €125 million and was intended to facilitate the expansion of the Hospes brand within Spain and Southern Europe. The company leverages technology, such as revenue management systems, to optimize pricing and occupancy rates, which have reportedly seen increases of 5% to 10%.
