Han's Robot, officially Shenzhen Han's Robot Co., Ltd., was established in August 2017 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the publicly traded Han's Laser Technology Group. The company was formed from the Han's Motor Division and the Han's Robotics Research Institute, which was founded in 2014 and released its first-generation collaborative robot in 2016. The founders are Gao Yunfeng, who serves as President, and Guangneng Wang, the company's CEO. Han's Robot leverages over a decade of its parent company's experience in motors, servo drives, and motion control to develop and produce intelligent robots.
The firm is a business-to-business (B2B) manufacturer of collaborative robots (cobots), autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs), and other robotic automation products. Its revenue is generated through the sale of these robotic systems and providing related application solutions. The company serves a global market, exporting its products to over 100 countries and catering to industries such as manufacturing, automotive, healthcare, logistics, electronics, and medical devices. With a production base in Shenzhen and an advanced manufacturing demonstration park in Foshan, Han's Robot has an annual production capacity of 30,000 collaborative robots.
Han's Robot offers a comprehensive suite of robotic solutions. The flagship Elfin series consists of 6-axis collaborative robots with various payloads (from 3kg to 15kg) designed for tasks like assembly, welding, grinding, and painting. A key feature of the Elfin series is its unique double-joint module design, which enhances flexibility. The company also produces the Elfin-Pro series, which incorporates force control and vision technology, and the S series for heavy payloads up to 25kg. For specialized environments, the company developed the Elfin-Ex, an explosion-proof cobot. Beyond cobots, their product line includes the FR series of AGVs for intralogistics and the STAR mobile manipulator, which combines a robotic arm with a mobile base for complex tasks. The company has successfully raised significant capital, including a Series A round of 165 million RMB in September 2020, a Series B1 round of 395 million RMB in June 2021, and a Series B+ round of nearly 200 million RMB at the end of 2021.
