Zayne Zhang, a Computer Science student at the University of Cambridge and member of a top-ranked Capture the Flag (CTF) team, left his studies to co-found the company. Mohan Pedhapati previously worked as a Senior Application Security Auditor at Cure53, and Harsh Jaiswal was a Senior Security Researcher specializing in web security. Maciej "haqpl" Cieśla, a veteran penetration tester, is also part of the team.

Hacktron AI was one of the first six startups selected for the Project Europe accelerator, securing €200,000 in funding for a 6.66% equity stake. This initiative is backed by prominent European founders and VCs to support emerging tech talent. The company has already performed a successful audit for Gumroad, where it autonomously identified and fixed a critical SQL injection vulnerability, and has received its first bug bounty.
